Restum – Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Restum shows how much of your AI subscriptions you have used and when each limit resets. It is made by Monster Consultancy.
What Restum collects
Nothing. Restum has no telemetry, analytics, advertising or crash reporting that leaves your computer, and no account of its own.
What stays on your computer
- Your settings (which providers are shown, their order, appearance and behaviour).
- The last usage figures per provider (plan name, how much is used, when it resets), so values show immediately when the app starts.
- The bar's position per monitor setup.
- A local crash log if the app crashes, which you can delete at any time.
Restum does not store, read or see your sign-in credentials. It asks the tools you already use and are signed in to (Claude Code, the Codex CLI and the GitHub CLI) for your usage, and those tools handle their own sign-in.
When installed from the Microsoft Store, all of this is kept in the app's own storage and is removed when you uninstall it.
Network access
Restum reads your usage and limits only for the providers you connect, through their own tools, which contact their own services under those services' privacy policies. Restum itself sends nothing anywhere.
Restum Pro
Restum Pro is bought in the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles the payment, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement; Monster Consultancy receives no payment or personal details. Restum only asks the Store whether Restum Pro is owned on this Microsoft account.

The GitHub Copilot figures come from an interface GitHub does not document and can change. If they stop showing, Restum shows an error rather than wrong numbers, and an update follows.
